What Is The Best Way To Straighten The Chain Wheel On My 18 Gear Bike?

Hi. I have slightly bent the chain wheel on my 18 speed bicycle. It's the triple gear type. Any one know if I can straighten it without taking it off? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks. Baby Girl
