Is this a good outfit for party? What to wear hair like? QUESTIONS!!..?

I'm going to a party in a couple days and my crush will be there and I want to look good. I know its not all about look but I like to at least look nice.... I'm gonna wear a black t-shirt with a softball team name in pink and white with white shorts. Is that a good outfit? I have dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, pinkish skin. I have naturally curly hair. Not like POOF curls, it just looks like I used a mini curling iron. People think my natural hair is pretty. (: should I wear my hair natural or straighten it? I have a sporty style, not very girly girl lol. Also should I wear bright socks and adidas flip flops or gold and pink nikes?
